Here is all the answers you need to know about Flights and Travel to your Resort.

When should I book my flights?
Once you are placed and have your visa appointment complete, you will be able to book your flights. All instructions will be on your Travel & Flights section in your profile, telling you when to fly to America, and which airport to fly to. If you need any help, we are just a phonecall away.
Where do I fly to?
Your resort will specify what airport you need to fly to in the Travel & Flights section on your profile. You must fly to this airport and follow the instructions set on your profile.
What's the baggage allowance?
It is best to check with your airline via their website. Usually, the allowance is between 22-24kg.
What time should I get to the airport for my flight?
You should make sure you're at the airport 3 hours before your scheduled departure time. This allows you plenty of time to hand in your bags, check in and get through the customs check. Allowing for 3 hours means that if there are any complications or queues, you have lots of time to make your boarding. Once you're through customs, you can grab a bite to each, shop in duty free and relax before your flight.
Check In Online
You can check in online usually 24 hours before your flight. Simply go onto your booking on your airlines website and follow the check-in instructions.
What happens to my baggage on a connecting flight?
There is no simple answer as this depends on the airline and country that you will be in for the connecting flight. Your luggage will go all the way to the final destination providing it is the same airline. If you have a connecting flight with two seperate airlines within the UK, the chances of you picking up your baggage is unlikely as you do not need to clear customs. If you have a connecting flight with two separate airlines from the UK/Europe/USA, you will most likely need to pick up your baggage and re-check it again at the new airline desk. It is always best to check this by asking check-in staff or a member of cabin crew before you land.
What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
Unfortunately, sometimes flights are delayed or cancelled and you are unable to fly that day. If you have a problem with your flights or are significantly delayed in the UK, call us on 0121 411 9165. If you are delayed outside of the UK, call our US office for free on 1-866-803-7653 (available 24/7). They will contact your resort and inform them of your new travel arrangements.
How do I get to the Resort after I land in America?
Your Resort will provide you will all travel details and this will be available for you in the Travel & Flights section. Resorts will either provide simple instructions on how to get public transport to the Resort, or they will pick you up at the airport.
How long can I stay in America after my Resort placement?
When your contract ends, you can travel for up to 30 days before you must fly home. You cannot overstay this 30 day travel period. Please note that your medical insurance will only cover 90 days. If your stay in the USA exceeds this length of time, you will need to pay for an extension through our providors. You must be insured for your entire time in the USA.
Can I go to Canada or Mexico after my placement?
If you want to travel to Canada or Mexico during your travels and re-enter America, you will need to obtain and ESTA. Once you cross an American border, your visa becomes null and void. If you try re-enter America with an ESTA, return entry will be at the discression of Border Control. If you are planning on flying to Canada, please note you will need to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) to enter the country.
